What is NYSACC?
The New York State Association of Conservation Commissions (NYSACC) is an independent, not-for-profit education organization established in 1971 by the Department of Environmental Conservation to provide leadership in the development of vital environmental programs for cities, towns, and villages throughout the State of New York. We bring together millions of people—government officials, environmentalists, students, and citizens—committed to preserving, protecting, and enhancing the built and natural environments in New York communities. NYSACC Remembers Don Duger
We at NYSACC are heartbroken to report the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Don Duger. For decades, Don served with distinction on NYSACC’s Board of Directors and the Town of Elbridge Environmental Commission. As a dynamic and fervent conservationist and leader, his generous spirit and dedication touched the lives of countless individuals and communities. Don was universally loved by all who had the privilege and pleasure of knowing him, and he will be greatly missed. We offer our deepest condolences to Don’s beloved wife, Patricia, and the entire Duger family.
